Phantom Works Proprietary Structural Analysis Engineer (Experienced/Senior)
Position located in Berkeley, MO. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Experienced or Senior Structural Analysis Engineer for advanced aircraft development programs.
Responsibilities- Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish system design and product design guides.
- Verify structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
- Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Define and document certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
- Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Level 4: 9 or more years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience with Finite Element Modeling (FEM) tools (e.g., NASTRAN, PATRAN).
- Experience with aerospace stress analysis and/or structural analysis.
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Clearance active within past 24 months considered active.
- Post‑start Top Secret/SCI clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) required.
- Successful completion of Company Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance required.
- Special Access Program (SAP) required post start.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; classified as a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
