Systems Engineer
Position Responsibilities
Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change‑driven activities in accordance with industry best practices. Conducts trend, variance, and impact analysis; prepares risk assessments and planning reports. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation plans, and refines business cases. Facilitates integration of project/program plans, schedules, change and baseline management processes. Assists in preparing meeting materials and communicating results.
Collects, analyzes, and documents requirements from stakeholders and establishes key project objectives. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems from inception through completion and coordinates with customers to support workshops based on requirements. Influences, negotiates, and acts as a change agent with a diverse audience. Applies strategic initiatives to process improvement activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 5+ years of professional experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data
- Earned Value Management experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams in a complex development portfolio
- Experience with complex engineering projects or systems engineering disciplines
100% onsite at one of the listed locations. Requires work on the 1st shift.
Security Clearance & BackgroundRequires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active within the last 24 months). U.S. citizenship required.
Travel & RelocationPosition may require travel up to 25% of the time. Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must relocate at their own expense.
Compensation & BenefitsPay range: $94,350 – $116,550. Total rewards include competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, and eligibility for a range of benefit programs such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off.
