Engineering Technical Specialist – Associate or Experienced
Location: Berkeley, Missouri (Hybrid: majority onsite)
Join the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team in the Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) Infrastructure Organization to proactively monitor, maintain, and analyze authoritative data across Boeing applications such as the Common Metrology Information System (CMIS) and Strategic Inventory Management Online (SIMON). Your work will provide insight, system administration, and actionable recommendations that improve data integrity and support engineering teams.
Responsibilities- Provide configuration management and coordinate changes across multiple business units.
- Perform data mining, evaluation, and summarization using queries to produce insights for end users.
- Develop, document, implement, and enforce engineering tool, process, and standard requirements.
- Provide training and consultation on tool utilization and support the integration of engineering designs.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Identify and validate user access roles, create tip sheets, and ensure system interoperability.
- Collect, synthesize, and analyze engineering performance metrics to inform business decisions.
- Maintain and disseminate engineering documents, reports, and correspondence to enable business activity.
- U.S. Person status per 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
- At least 1 year of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, including summarizing findings and developing conclusions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tabular data processing.
- Ability to document training instructions and user guides.
- Level 3: 3 or more years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience with CMIS or SIMON.
- Familiarity with data architecture, warehouse concepts, and stakeholder management.
- Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams and delivering projects on schedule.
- Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or regulated industries.

Pay and BenefitsAssociate Level (Level
2): $71,400 – $96,600
Experienced Level (Level
3): $85,000 – $115,000
