About the Role
Join Indotronix as an Electrical Wire Harness / Equipment Materials Parts & Processes professional at our Berkeley, MO location. Contribute to the design, evaluation, and qualification of electrical and electronic components in a high-reliability environment. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers looking to broaden their expertise in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

- Apply engineering expertise to evaluate electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components for assembly and subassembly repair and design.
- Support subcontractors and suppliers to ensure electronic components meet client contract requirements.
- Operate in high-reliability, harsh environment settings, leveraging prior experience in aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or industrial design.
- Work hands-on with connectors, wires, and cables, including cable/bundle fabrication and harness installation.
- Collaborate within a structured, team-focused organization while maintaining attention to detail and clear documentation.
- Participate in component qualification, requirements documentation, and evaluation processes.

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' engineering experience, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
- Familiarity with basic electronic components: resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transformers, connectors, integrated circuits.
- Demonstrated team collaboration and communication abilities.
- Strong writing, documentation, and detail orientation.
- Understanding of requirements documentation, component qualification, and evaluation.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of industry/military aerospace standards: SAE, Mil-specs, ASTMs, IEEE, especially EWIS.
- Hands-on experience with wiring harnesses, cable fabrication, and harsh environment applications.
- Background in fiber optic interconnects, electrical component fabrication, or component-level design and testing.
- Experience defining system/part requirements, SSOWs, and ensuring deliverables for customers.
