Position OverviewAs an Industrial Engineer, you will apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to optimize products, processes, and services in alignment with program requirements. You will develop plant layouts, capacity plans, and workflows while evaluating new technologies for integration into production and service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
- Conduct workflow design and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and improve quality.
- Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data, providing summary analysis and metrics for leadership consultation.
- Research, design, and implement processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Standardize assembly practices.
- Prepare operations plans, including budgeting, capacity analysis, and production change management to meet technical goals.
- Support execution planning through project management, planning, scheduling, and shop load practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and ergonomic guidelines.
- Air Proprietary Programs – Engage in innovative projects that enhance our defense capabilities and contribute to national security.
- F-15EX – The latest variant of the F-15, featuring advanced avionics and weapon systems for superior air dominance.
- T-7A Red Hawk – A next‑generation trainer aircraft designed to prepare pilots for modern combat.
- MQ-25 Stingray – The first unmanned aerial refueler for the U.S. Navy, enhancing carrier‑based operations.
- F/A-18 Super Hornet – A multi‑role fighter aircraft known for its versatility and advanced capabilities.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of work‑related experience with a Bachelors Degree OR an equivalent combination of work‑related experience and technical education.
- Experience working with composites materials and processes.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or similar course of study.
- Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
- Experience working closely with manufacturing assembly line technicians – helping support their efforts.
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required. The role also requires program access, requiring U.S. Citizenship, and compliance with U.S. export control requirements (U.S. Person status).

Pay & BenefitsLevel 3: $100,300 - $135,700. The total rewards package includes competitive base pay, variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off. Boeings 401(k) offers dollar‑for‑dollar matching up to 10% of eligible pay with immediate 100% vesting, and student loan match programs.
