Position Overview

Experienced Engineering Technical Specialist – Berkeley, MO. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works seeks an experienced engineering technical specialist to join the Advanced Mission Systems, Effects, and Payloads (AMSEP) team. The role supports multiple proprietary programs and involves assisting engineers with research and development activities, managing project procurements, and tracking metrics.

Position Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program procurements for IRAD and CRAD efforts.
  • Develop tracking metrics to ensure support functions (supply chain, finance, etc.) provide required data.
  • Coordinate across multiple engineers within AMSEP to achieve program deliverables.
  • Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and document requests thoroughly.
  • Use Microsoft Office products and Adobe to create and present data.
  • Utilize Boeing procurement, Capital, and facilities planning tools.
  • Ask "why" until reaching the root of the request to ensure proper processes and requirements are followed.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for a cross‑functional team.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration, problem‑solving, critical thinking, data storytelling, stakeholder management, and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience with Boeing procurement systems (CAPRS), Capital (GOLD), and financial reporting systems.
  • Active Top‑Secret Security Clearance.
Additional Requirements
  • 100% onsite at Berkeley, MO.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, domestically or internationally.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active within past 24 months) and U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Compliance with U.S. export control requirements for U.S. Persons.
  • Relocation may be offered based on eligibility.
