Position: F 15 Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Engineers for the F-15 program located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Overview

We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness and composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world‑class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs.

Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions into the production environment.
  • Participate in developing, identifying and implementing conceptual designs and maintaining the program architecture for build.
  • Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
  • Assist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and help document producibility best practices.
  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
  • Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
  • Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
  • Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
  • Implement lean principles and technologies.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 5+ years work‑related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work‑related experience and technical education.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • (Level
    4) 9+ years work‑related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work‑related experience and technical education.
  • B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Composite Fabrication experience.
  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
  • Experience with 3D model‑based instruction.
  • Experience with IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, Vis Mockup, Pro Model, Flex Sim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi‑Monitor Collaborative Rooms.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci).
  • Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.).
