Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
The Mission Systems Phantom Works organization in Berkeley, MO is looking for a Senior Mission Systems Crew Systems Electrical Engineer to work on an Air Dominance Proprietary program focusing on displays, data storage, helmet integration, and crew systems network solutions. The role reports to the Core Avionics team within Mission Systems and will be part of a high‑performing, cross‑functional team.
Position Responsibilities- Use CAMEO/MBSE to analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Design and maintain hardware, software, and interface specifications
- Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
- Support project management activities by providing work statements, budget, schedule, and other required inputs, and by reporting project status
- Interface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels within the organization
- Complete trade studies, modeling, simulation, and other forms of analysis to predict components, interconnects, and system performance, and to optimize design
- Research specific technology advances for potential application
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (focused in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
- Development and qualification, physical and functional design and integration, and resolving supplier technical issues
- Experience with Mission Systems Crew Systems Displays
- Electrical engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, and integrated design, analysis, evaluation, and verification
- Experience with avionics hardware development, design, production, and project management

Competitive base pay and variable compensation with a pay range of $136,850–$185,150.
