In this role, you will apply industrial engineering expertise to enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve quality, and support advanced aerospace manufacturing programs.
What You’ll Do- Applying industrial engineering concepts, methods, and techniques to products, processes, and services to meet program goals
- Developing plant layouts, equipment plans, workflows, and capacity strategies for efficient operations
- Designing and optimizing production systems by integrating facilities, equipment, supply base, personnel, and design requirements
- Conducting workflow studies and operational analysis to improve throughput and performance
- Researching and implementing new technologies, tools, and methods to modernize production processes
- Building models, databases, spreadsheets, and metrics dashboards to support leadership decision‑making
- Improving schedule performance, lowering costs, and increasing quality through process innovation
- Leading facility or factory modifications and revisions to operating methods
- Creating product assembly instructions and standardizing best practices across operations
- Preparing operations plans, budgeting forecasts, capacity analysis, and production change strategies
- Supporting execution planning through project management, scheduling, and shop load balancing
- Providing production, supply chain logistics, visibility, and recovery planning support
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a master’s degree, or equivalent experience with a PhD
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with production systems, process optimization, and data‑driven decision‑making
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- 5+ years of industrial engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience
- 5+ years partnering across multiple functional teams in a lead or integrator role
- Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Experience improving manufacturing stability, quality, and productivity in complex environments
- Competitive pay Starting at: $53 to $63 per hour
- Full‑time consultant assignment for 12 months
- Consistent schedule:
Monday–Friday | First Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Opportunity to work on innovative aviation and defense manufacturing programs

Pay Details: $53.00 to $63.00 per hour
