Lab Associate - Nights

Overview

Christian Hospital has a full-time ( Nights ) Lab Associate opportunity available. If you have positive attitude and want to learn from the best, this position is a great opportunity for those interested in phlebotomy. Experience is preferred.

• $1,000 Sign-on bonus

Northwest Health Care, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.

• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
