* ** Role Overview This position involves the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders in agile-inspired sprint teams. The successful candidate will create, document, and deploy designs that conform to architectural and security standards, and provide Level 3 support to meet service restoration and network availability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services based on customer goals.
* Collaborate with stakeholders such as Transport, MAN/WAN, and Project Managers in agile sprint teams.
* Utilize work intake processes, manage backlog, and execute requests in coordination with IT Business Partners.
* Create and document designs that conform to architectural and security standards using design templates.
* Prepare, deploy, and coordinate the installation of complex implementation packages according to standards.
* Provide Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support for preventative, proactive, and reactive maintenance.
* Support and participate in component research to provide input for evaluation.
* Participate in tactical multi-technology insertion projects using established project management methodologies.
* Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem-solving.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** 2+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches, including IOS implementations. 2+ years of experience with the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). 2+ years of experience utilizing TCP/IP network protocols.
** Technical

Skills:

** A Security+ or equivalent IATII certification is required.
** Other:
** A secret security clearance is required. The ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations is necessary. Willingness to cover on-call shifts, including weekends and after hours, is expected.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Atlassian Jira, Service Now, or Microsoft Visio.
* CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco Certification.
* Experience with COMSEC / Encryptors.
* Experience with Arista networking.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud.
* Experience with Cisco ISE, Solar Winds, Zero Trust, MFA, or Comply to Connect.
* Experience with NTP, IPSEC, and GRE tunnel configurations.
* Experience with Palo Alto next-generation firewall systems and Panorama.
* Experience with Splunk.
