We are seeking an Associate Applied Mathematician for the Advanced Codes & Measurements team located in Berkeley, MO, as part of Boeing Phantom Works.
Position Responsibilities- Research, prototype, and compare mathematical algorithms
- Code, test and maintain mathematical software tools
- Assist in evaluating computational resources to solve mathematical problems
- Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques
- Influence colleagues to use appropriate mathematical tools and processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Top-Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. The position also requires the ability to obtain Special Program Access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 1+ years of experience with analytical, quantitative reasoning and/or mathematical modeling skills
- Experience with computational mathematics
- Experience prototyping algorithms and testing code
- Experience with a high-level programming language such as Python, C++
- Experience with neural networks or machine learning techniques
Pay range: $97,750 - $132,250. Applications will be accepted until Jul. 30, 2026.
