The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) invites applications for a Procurement Multi‑Family Manager (Level K) to join our Air Dominance/Air Proprietary team in Berkeley or Hazelwood, Missouri. The role includes contracting responsibilities and business/program-facing duties.

100% onsite in one of the listed locations. This position is for first shift. 25% travel may be required.

• Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier‑related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
• Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
• More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
• More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
• More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 3 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts.
• Typically 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience.
• Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

• Security clearance:
  Must obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
• U.S. export control compliance: A “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.
• Program access:
  Must obtain program access for which U.S. Government requires U.S. citizenship only.
• Safety Sensitive:
  This is not a Safety Sensitive Position.
• Drug free workplace:

• Relocation:

Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Total rewards package includes health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $114,750 – $141,750.
