Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade
Procurement Multi‑Family Manager (LevelK) – Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), to support the Air Dominance team at the St.Louis site (Hazelwood and Berkeley, Missouri).
Position Responsibilities- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier‑related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to acquisition of goods and services, supplier assessment, performance improvement, and supply chain management.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies, procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
- Minimum of one year in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager) or completion of Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”.
- More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
- More than 3 years of experience negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
- More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- More than 3 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts.
- Typically 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience.
- Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.
Competitive base pay, variable compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Pay range: $114,750–$141,750.
Location & Schedule- 100% onsite at the St.Louis site.
- Shift: 1st shift.
- Travel: up to 25% of the time.
- Relocation assistance not provided; candidate must relocate at own expense.
- Must obtain U.S. Secret Clearance (interim and final) and be a U.S. citizen.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance; must be a U.S. Person.
- Position is not safety sensitive.
