Position: Manufacturing Planner 3

Job Description

Develops and maintains manufacturing plans, work instructions, and technical documentation to support production processes, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and delivery objectives.

Job Details

  • Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM), OT/Weekend as required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Manufacturing Planner experience
  • 5+ years of experience with CAD Software
  • Ability to interpret and read 2D and 3D drawings and specs
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred Skills
  • Gold ESP & MESCI experience
  • Experience with IVT, REDARS, WIRS
Job Duties & Functions
  • Develops manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
  • Implements manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
  • Supports mechanics by providing clarification related to planning and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
  • Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met
  • Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
  • Manages tools from initial design to end-of-use disposition
  • Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues
  • Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs
  • Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
  • Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
  • Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
Physical Requirements & Environment
  • Ability to go up and down stairs
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
