Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1241) at Target

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs; assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and how to enroll in or use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering.
• Handle returns following Target policies; partner with leadership as needed to solve for the guest.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage unpurchased items, baskets and hangers.
• Stock supplies during store hours and remain available for guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders and returns, while complying with applicable laws (e.g., safety and adult beverage regulations).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally (with or without assistance).
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
