Sales Associate - PRN

The primary responsibility of the salesperson within healthcare retail is to demonstrate a positive, outgoing, and caring attitude towards all customers and patients. Sales in healthcare retail requires the ability to learn new products in health, wellness, and gift categories and to explain the function and the benefit of these items to patients and customers. Demonstrate the ability to work all areas in the Gift Shop to ensure smooth operations.

Reports to the Gift Shop Manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Experience:
  
  2-3 years in a retail environment preferred.
• Preferred Education:
  
  High School Diploma.
• Other:
  Knowledge of POS system preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, the ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize duties.
