Maintenance Electrician

Overview

Maintenance Electrician – Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Berkeley, MO. The role is 100% onsite at a specified location.

• Install, construct, maintain, modify, repair, calibrate, support, verify, functionally test, replace, relocate, move, protect, or preserve electrical items, equipment, raceways, devices, apparatus, systems, lighting fixtures, circuits, and related infrastructure in industrial, real property, utility distribution, plant, production equipment, machine tools, HVAC, instrumentation, and control devices. Provide maintenance on electrical conveyance vehicles, lift vehicles, and loading vehicles.

• 3+ years of experience as an electrician.
• Experience as a machine repair/maintenance mechanic, NC electrician, or similar technical/technician role, repairing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.

• Experience in high‑voltage power supply and power modulator theory, design, fabrication, and testing.
• Current electrician license.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post‑start is required.

1. Shift work required; employees may be assigned any shift. New hires may be required to attend training and will be on a 120‑day probationary period. Total rewards include base pay ($20.41–$44.64/hr), variable compensation, health insurance, HSA, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, paid/unpaid time off, subject to federal, state, and collective bargaining agreements.

Relocation: relocation assistance is not offered; candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. This position is not contingent upon program award.
