Overview

Parts Authority is one of the fastest growing supply chain companies in the country. Our Drivers are company representatives who interact with clients daily and must have excellent customer service skills.

Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour. Company Vehicle Provided.

The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules, ensuring orders are properly fulfilled and providing an excellent customer experience.

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions, routes, time schedules, navigation apps, and local knowledge to deliver on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading without interfering with customer operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debts and credits, and handle all money collected.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Assist with other store/warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain workplace safety and promote it.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years old or older to meet insurance requirements.
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds (auto body parts collision drivers must lift 75 lbs).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills.
• Take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
