Warehouse Coordinator

summary:works independently with limited direction from warehouse supervisor. Coordinates daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving. Handles basic maintenance of the department and reports larger projects to the maintenance group. Duties include but are not limited to: review current sales orders and create pick tickets for the warehouse team. Reports issues or special shipping requirements to warehouse supervisor. Creates all bol’s and other shipping / receiving documents including those for hazmat and export shipments.

Enter appropriate information into customer portals, schedule ltl and full truckload shipments, as well as ups and fedex shipments. Responsible for making sure that all outgoing orders are shipped out accurately and in a timely manner. Will receive and enter documents into the lhb software system. Direct warehouse personnel for any shipping / picking needs. Assist material handlers with order picking and loading as needed.

Works to train new employees or temporary help as needed. Demonstrates and promotes lhb’s values.require skills/abilities/knowledge:good computer skills.good mathematical skills.working knowledge of microsoft office (outlook, word, excel).ups/fedex procedures and softwarehazardous material shipping.ability to lead and coordinate the work of others.forklift experience education and experience:high school diploma or equivalent.
4 years warehouse /forklift truck operation experience supervisory responsibilities:none licenses and certifications:process safety management, per 29 crf dot hazmat training, per 49 cfr 172.704(a) hazardous waste management procedures, per 40 cfr 265.16fork truck training and license, per 29 cfr physical demands:the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
