Churchill Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly motivated Junior Water Resources/Civil Design Engineer to join our team! Churchill is a full‑service engineering firm that provides public and private sector clients with planning, design, surveying, permitting, and construction management services for a broad range of civil/infrastructure and environmental projects.

• Location: Berlin, NJ
• Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 / year

• Under the supervision of a professional engineer, design various project elements including drainage conveyance systems, stormwater management BMPs, hydraulic design of bridges and culverts, and other related elements.
• Prepare/assist with 3D design models in Civil 3D, Microstation Inroads and Openroads software.
• Draft contract plans and details for various project phases including preliminary design and final design.
• Perform engineering design calculations.
• Prepare quantity calculations, cost estimates and supplemental specifications.
• Perform site visits to support design efforts.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies and prepare meeting minutes.
• Work within a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or another related Engineering discipline.
• 3-5+ years of related experience.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills are required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
