Deputy Chief Administrative Officer - Berlin Township.The Township seeks a qualified professional to serve as part-time Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, reporting directly to the Mayor, who serves as the Township’s Chief Administrative Officer. The position will assist the Mayor with coordination and administration of municipal operations, special projects, policy implementation, grants, procurement, capital projects, economic development, redevelopment initiatives, and other matters as assigned. Candidates should possess strong organizational, analytical, communication, and project-management skills.
Prior New Jersey municipal government experience is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree and relevant municipal or professional certifications are preferred but not required. Position is up to 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based upon Township needs. Salary is $20,000–$60,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and anticipated schedule.
