HVAC Technician / Entry-Level Apprentice
Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling is hiring a full‑time HVAC Technician / Entry‑Level Apprentice. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $17–$22 per hour
, a typical Monday–Friday full‑time schedule with options of 7 am–4 pm or 8 am–5 pm, and generous benefits including health insurance, a 401(k) match, five paid sick days after 90 days, paid holidays, paid vacation, and a team‑oriented culture.
As an apprentice you will work alongside experienced field technicians, diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems, assisting customers with informed decisions, and gaining hands‑on training in all aspects of HVAC work. You will receive on‑the‑job instruction, participate in continuing education opportunities, and progress toward becoming a highly skilled technician.
Qualifications- EPA certification
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work at heights and in small crawl spaces
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record
- No experience necessary; self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and eager to learn
