Mainresponsibilities
- Works with Service Technicians assembling, repairing and reconfiguring Panelized Product
- Assignment of tasks, ensuring process adherence for safety, quality and standard hour requirements.
- Clean floors, wax floors, inspect electric system as needed, and check roofs. Clean all windows/walls/ceilings/fixtures/doors, and perform repairs as needed. Installs company signage per company guidelines.
- Maintains a clean and organized working area inside and out, including lawn, parking lot, and building.
- Maintains a safe working environment and practices safe working habits.
- Ensures that upcoming orders for PP units are ready.
- Performs minor service related tasks in yard as requested.
- Able to interpret blueprints and Production Plans including validating ship-loose material as required; including crating and loading.
- Supervise work of Service technicians.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2 years prior experience required
- Must have carpentry knowledge and experience. Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful, along with janitorial experience.
- General contractor’s license is preferred.
- A current valid license and a good driving record are required.
- Additional requirements if performing HVAC duties:
Must have knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances. Must hold appropriate licenses as required by law. - Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a must.
- Good communications skills are required for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel as well as William Scotsman employees at various branch locations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs daily and safely lift more occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools in a proficient manner
- Ability to climb a ladder up to 25 feet
- Ability to drive/travel in truck for up to 2 hours (daily)
- Must have good eyesight
- Ability to work on your feet up to 8 hours (daily)
