This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally.

• Analyze Large Strategic Accounts; forecasts, sales vs. plan and purchasing trends, whether based on historical demand or new customer requirements to maximize ABC Distribution Service Agreement (DSA) compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with Large Strategic Accounts, Suppliers and other functional areas to improve performance, buy-side profitability, inventory productivity and overall team effectiveness.
• Maintain MWI’s inventory levels. Work closely with Customers, Suppliers, and Distribution Centers to move non-productive inventory.
• Develop new solutions to various tactical challenges MWI and strategic accounts face as it relates to procuring product and supplier and distribution center relations.
• Collaborate with the Large Strategic Accounts Manager on opportunities such as deals, rebates, allowances, new item purchases and promotional activities for suppliers and customers.
• Partner with large strategic accounts daily and advocate for MWI Animal Health interests relative to their actions and policies.
• Resolve issues with guidance and oversight from the manager.
• Multi-task and perform varied functions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Participate in strategic decisions to find solutions to increase MWI Animal Health’s profitability.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Normally requires a minimum of one to three years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
• Previous customer/client facing experience is required.

• Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of fundamental concepts, principles, practices and procedures in Procurement
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
