Position: Heavy Equipment Operator (Full-Time)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced equipment operator who can operate various types of heavy equipment with precision, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment: excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, graders and other construction machinery.
  • Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and GPS equipment when applicable.
  • Perform site grading, trenching, excavation, back filling, and material handling.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Work closely with supervisors, laborers, and truck drivers to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Assist with other construction related duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment required.
  • Experience with site work, utilities, grading, and excavation preferred.
  • Proficiency with Topcon GPS systems for grading and layout is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of grading, site layout, and heavy equipment operations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor when necessary.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
