Position OverviewWe are seeking an Energy Efficiency Engineer to support commercial and industrial energy efficiency initiatives throughout New England. This position combines engineering analysis, project consulting, field evaluations, and customer engagement to help organizations identify and implement meaningful energy-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers while applying technical knowledge to solve complex energy challenges across a variety of facility types.

Responsibilities- Evaluate energy efficiency opportunities for commercial and industrial customers
- Perform electric and natural gas energy savings calculations
- Conduct site inspections and equipment assessments
- Analyze HVAC, lighting, controls, motors, and other building systems
- Support implementation of utility-sponsored energy efficiency initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Research and evaluate emerging energy technologies
- Support program delivery, customer education, and outreach efforts
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive successful project outcomes
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline
- Utility, consulting, or energy services experience
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and energy conservation principles
- Experience supporting commercial and industrial facilities
- Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills
This is a Contract position based out of Berlin, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
