What you will be owning as an Accounting Analyst:
- Handle monthly close tasks — closing the books, running variance analysis, doing reconciliations, and sharing key financial reports.
- Break down gross margin and cost variances (PPV, labor, scrap) and turn them into clear, useful insights.
- Keep standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead accurate and up to date.
- Help level‑up ERP workflows related to inventory, costing, and financial reporting.
- Team up with Operations and Engineering to understand how new products, process changes, or capital projects impact costs.
- Support internal and external audits with the info they need.
- Jump in on process improvements to make things faster, cleaner, and smarter.
- Take on additional projects as they come up — flexibility is key.
Preferred qualifications for the Accounting Analyst
- BS Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years experience with more of a focus on financial analysis within a manufacturing industry is highly desired.
- Analytical skills will be highly valued for this role!
- Strong MS Excel skills.
