Business Internship

Aboutthe Role
This internship provides hands‑on experience across Talent Acquisition, University Relations, Learning & Development, and Culture & Engagement. You’ll support meaningful HR initiatives, work on real projects, and build skills that prepare you for a career in Human Resources.
What You’ll Do Talent Acquisition & University Relations- Support campus recruitment activities for multiple college level programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of an exceptional Summer Intern Program.
- Help shape our campus recruiting experience by building out and managing our presence on the Handshake platform. Student-user experience is a must.
- Assist with developing an intern job description "bank".
- Assist with talent branding efforts, including careers site updates, social media content and marketing materials.
- Utilize ATS and CRM tools and other technologies to manage full cycle recruiting activities, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Organize and maintain union job descriptions and create files for internal and external postings.
- Collect and analyze learning feedback and participation data (surveys, evaluations, completion rates).
- Provide behind-the-scenes support for virtual learning sessions and leadership programs (chat monitoring, breakout rooms, tech checks).
- Prepare learner-focused communications, including invitations, program overviews and follow-up messages.
- Explore and test new learning tools and features (polling, AI tools) and summarize recommendations.
- Update and refresh existing training materials (slide decks, job aids, facilitator guides).
- Convert longform or instructor-led content into microlearning resources like quick reference guides and tip sheets.
- Support planning and implementation of enterprise wide BRG and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with benchmarking engagement and inclusion best practices to strengthen processes and support Employer of Choice positioning.
- Contribute to the development and facilitation of engagement and inclusion workshops, meetings and learning sessions.
- Passion and motivation to pursue a career in Human Resources.
- Effective communication skills and a customer centric mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across teams.
- Presently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related discipline.
Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Pay rates are hourly, based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non‑technical. Rates start at $18.56 for a freshman and go up to $22.37 for a graduate level student.
