General Production Worker
We are seeking a dependable General Production Worker to support manufacturing operations in a clean, climate-controlled facility. This role involves operating production equipment, performing assembly and machine-related tasks, scanning and tracking production through computer systems, and rotating between workstations to support operational needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Follow work instructions, production procedures, and standard operating processes.
- Operate production equipment, including CNC-fed and automated machinery.
- Scan barcodes and QR codes to track production and inventory.
- Create and print labels using computerized systems.
- Perform manufacturing tasks such as tumbling, grinding, assembly, and material handling.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Cross-train and rotate between departments and workstations as needed.
- Support team production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial experience.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and system navigation.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- CNC machine experience is a plus.
- Cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment.
- Ability to work with manufacturing equipment and machinery safely.
- Clean, well-lit, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Potential cleanroom environment with company-provided PPE.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berlin, CT.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
