We’re hiring General Laborers / Sorters to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Berlin, CT.

Sorting recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean.

This position does not require a resume. Candidates must be able to follow directions; realistic job preview will determine if we consider moving forward for a future or present full‑time position. Our candidate selection process is based on specific criteria to foster a positive and efficient workforce that aligns with Leadpoint’s culture.

As a Full‑time General Laborer / Sorter, you’ll earn $18.00 per hour. Plus perks that include:

• Sick time that starts to accumulate after 90 days of employment.

• You must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Can lift up to 25 pounds as needed and stand throughout the shift.
• Consent to a background check.
• Consent to a drug screen.
• Reliable transportation to get to work; many facilities are located near a bus line. We also promote carpooling and ride sharing.
• LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training required for all sorters.
