Wire EDM Operator

We are seeking a skilled Wire EDM Operator to set up, operate, and monitor wire electrical discharge machining equipment to produce precision components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with precision machining equipment.

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to produce precision parts and components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Load and secure work pieces and select appropriate wire, tooling, and machining parameters.
• Program and/or edit CNC Wire EDM programs as required.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, CMMs, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining problems, wire breaks, dimensional issues, and machine alarms.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and consumable replacement.
• Verify finished parts meet customer and company quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality procedures, and production schedules.
