- Supervise assigned hourly employees on production operations under the supervision of the Profit Center General Manager
- Control Cost, Quality and Delivery for assigned operations
- Ensure proper training and compliance with Safety and Quality Standards and Company Policies and Procedures
- Maintain team leadership and interactive communication with employees
- Lead continuous improvement projects and implement process improvements and modifications
- Assign employees to meet production schedule demands
- Ensure employees receive sufficient training and instruction
- Work with set-up personnel, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure requirements are understood and met
- Track employee performance, provide timely feedback, and administer counseling or corrective disciplinary action as necessary
- Review and approve employee timecards daily
- Audit employee quality and compliance with established work methods
- Maintain housekeeping and compliance with 5S goals
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to automated manufacturing equipment
- Coordinate with Production and support functions to meet plant schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Profit Center Manager
- Experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment required
- B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering or other applicable Engineering Discipline required
- A degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Two to five years in manufacturing supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees in group or individual meetings regarding departmental goals, work assignments, quality, safety, manufacturing problems, attendance, work performance, discipline, and training, and to maintain related records
- Ability to meet deadlines and schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting experience with automated manufacturing equipment and/or robotics preferred
- No Travel Required
Demonstrates strong leadership in supervising manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Proficient in troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and effectively communicating with team members to meet production goals.
