Job Summary:
Primary responsibility for establishing, implementing and directing all aspects of the company's quality control program.
Supervisory Responsibilities:Inspector(s)
Duties/Responsibilities:- Oversee the quality management function
- Create and manage processes that ensure the company product/service quality standards are met
- Manage the quality audits
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerances
- Perform first article inspections
- Work with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers and customers on all quality related issues
- Manage internal audit process
- Communicate nonconformance issues to customers and work to resolve them
- Mentor inspector(s)
- Excellent knowledge of quality control principles
- Working knowledge of ISO
9001, AS9100 and or NADCAP quality programs - Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years' experience working in a quality role
