This is a part time role supporting our Berlin, CT office. Must be able to work and interview in office during scheduled shifts.
- Generate Returns or Credits in compliance with procedures and established protocol.
- Mastery of Epicor Enterprise Resource Management System.
- Manage sales transactions with customers, plan and coordinate shipping.
- Answering customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
- Documenting all interactions and communications with customers and prospects through and Microsoft Teams/SharePoint.
- Maintaining and updating customer records in Sales Force/CRM when in contact during the sales process and when given registration lists from trade shows.
- Maintain daily, weekly reporting in a timely, professional manner.
- Assisting customers in making product selections based on their needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
- Preparing sales contracts/quotes for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing.
- Follow-up, as needed, on requests generated from customers, Sales Opportunities (Via phone, Heath Info Box, internet, etc.).
- Contact customers weekly to get their feedback on recent purchases.
- Keep manager and sales reps informed of notable client contacts, anticipated sales and problems encountered.
- Substitute for Customer Service Representatives or Receptionist, when called upon, during vacations, sick time, etc.
- Work remotely from home in case of natural disasters or flooding when and if the office is closed.
- Perform other duties as may be requested by the Factory Service Manager.
- Associates Degree or BS/BA preferred.
- A minimum of two years of work-related experience in customer service, inside sales or similar.
- Knowledge of international shipping and experience with major shipping companies (i.e., UPS, Fedex, Freight Forwarders).
- Ability to communicate with other departments like Production, Engineering, Factory Service, Accounting and Human Resources.
- Must possess a firm knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel and demonstrate the ability to utilize these programs to a high level of aptitude.
- Microsoft SharePoint/Teams to file all work and share with team members accordingly.
- Firm knowledge of Salesforce for documentation of all customer interactions with an expectation of learning to the level of mastery.
- Ability to accomplish tasks under pressure, determine priorities, and meet varied deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and dependable.
