Position SummaryWe are seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic
-Dual License to perform skilled maintenance, installation and repair work on both the buildings and building electrical, mechanical, and other equipment and building systems.
Duties include:
Making scheduled tests and inspections, performing preventative maintenance, determining necessary repair/maintenance work on building equipment and fixtures including but not limited to the HVAC air and water-cooled systems, refrigeration equipment, electrical and electronic controls, pneumatic equipment, and lighting systems, etc.;
Performing skilled work in connection with the installation, removal, operations and maintenance of the buildings systems and other related physical plant systems is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid, clean motor vehicle operator’s license
- Mechanical aptitude/understanding of and ability to apply electrical theory
- Valid and current Connecticut S-2 and E-2 licenses are required
- Must have five years related commercial and/or industrial experience in electrical and HVAC system installation, repair and maintenance required system maintenance required
- Prior experience in commercial and/or industrial experience in electrical and HVAC system installation is preferred.
- This position is part of a four-year job progression:
