Building Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC License

Position Summary

We are seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC License to perform duties including making scheduled tests and inspections; determining necessary work on building equipment and fixtures; and installing, removing, operating, and maintaining building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, lighting, compressed air, water‑cooled chillers, and DDC building automation systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid, clean motor‑vehicle operator’s license
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical theory
• Valid and current Connecticut S‑1 and –S‑2 licenses
• Five years of related experience in Mechanical / HVAC system maintenance in a Commercial / Industrial environment

• Experience with Mechanical / HVAC system installation

This position is part of a four‑year job progression: starting pay at Step1 $ 53.52 and progressing in accordance with the union contract.
