Job SummaryImplementing educational programs for educationally handicapped students ages 3 to enrollment in Kindergarten.
Qualifications and Experience- NH Licensure: Special Education and Early Childhood Education
- IEP Development, Program Implementation, and Transitions of age 3 - grade K students
- Preparation and meeting facilitation for new referrals, evaluation planning, eligibility determination, and initial and annual IEP development and reviews.
- Disseminate, implement, and monitor IEPs, including providing quarterly progress reports per student.
- Transition students with IEPs into Kindergarten by conducting individual parent meetings and team meetings.
- Provide educational and technical assistance to preschool through high school staff.
- Create individual, structured, and inclusive speech and language programs, and develop augmentative communication systems.
- Maintain an organized calendar for upcoming meetings, schedule with parents and related service providers, and share the calendar with the Student Services Director.
- Evaluations, Screenings, and Child Find
- Conduct year-round screening of referred students and participate in bi-annual Child Find Screenings.
- Organize evaluators, provide academic screening, reach out to families and area preschools, and coordinate with Head Start for Child Find.
- Additional Duties
- Coordinate with Head Start and other local childcare/preschool facilities.
- Provide guidelines and rubrics for paraprofessional support using a level system, and interview paraprofessional candidates as needed.
- Support court-involved preschool students by writing court reports and attending hearings as needed.
- Attend training on IDEA and amend IEPs as needed.

The Pre School Teacher/Case Manager will be evaluated annually by the Student Services Director based on the successful execution of the duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description, with specific emphasis on compliance adherence, adhering to timelines, and program growth.
