Material Handler 1st Shift

Shift Hours

5:30am – 3:30pm, Monday– Thursday. Overtime:
Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm as required.

Material HandlerI:$18.10per hour.

Material HandlerII:$20.10per hour.

• Handle all material handling needs, picking warehouse parts and delivering them to assembly areas.
• Work closely with production lines to ensure efficient production and resource utilization.
• Maintain company standards for Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Productivity.

• Material HandlerI – 0‑2years experience; follow company policies; high attention to detail; teamwork; effective communication; basic PC; problem identification; basic literacy and math; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Material HandlerII – 1‑3years experience; high attention to detail; strong communication; intermediate PC; problem resolution; forklift or equivalent equipment operation; ERP entry/maintenance.
• Material HandlerIII – 2‑5years experience; strong communication; forklift operation; problem‑solving tools; coaching/training experience; team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience; ERP proficiency.

• Work under general supervision with well‑defined tasks, following procedures and policies.
• Participate in metric boards measuring Safety, Quality, CI, and Productivity; ensure accurate work.
• Complete and retain all required training.
• Resolve problems with assistance as needed.
• Follow defined procedures and practices.
• Contact immediate supervisor and team members for support.
• Participate in 5S programs to maintain visual control; fix abnormal areas immediately.
• Operate forklift daily per procedure.
• Maintain good attendance in line with policy.

Report to Materials Supervisor; direction from Materials Leads.

Regular talking and hearing; hand manipulation; standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching above shoulders; lifting 25‑50lb occasionally; frequent computer work requiring sitting, close vision, focus adjustment.
