The ideal candidate is

A senior professional audio expert with 10+ years of experience in complex, networked audio systems. You work hands‑on, think structurally, communicate confidently with senior technical stakeholders, and take ownership naturally. You’re safety‑conscious, team‑oriented, and motivated by solving complex technical challenges.

Main objectives of the role

In this role, you will leverage your extensive application experience in system design, configuration, and deployment to support customers using HOLOPLOT products, while also contributing to the development of future solutions. You bring strong expertise in Audio‑over‑IP (AoIP) and actively support core processes to ensure best‑in‑class delivery in the field.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Apply existing best practices for the design, setup, commissioning, and tuning of audio systems, including hands‑on setup and using proprietary software tools.
  • Provide expert‑level knowledge on Audio‑over‑IP (AoIP) technologies and networked audio system design.
  • Support the definition and validation of technical specifications, system architectures, and compliance‑related requirements, particularly for functionally complex systems.
  • Provide cross‑functional technical expertise to enhance product development, testing, configuration, and deployment activities.
  • Play a key role in product development, including system testing, configuration validation, and feedback into product and engineering teams.
  • Work closely with internal technical experts across engineering, software, and hardware teams in a like‑for‑like technical dialogue, ensuring clear, structured communication.
  • Support system setup processes including health & safety considerations, system configuration, and stock/equipment management.
  • Maintain broad awareness of third‑party professional audio products and ecosystems.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, workflows, and quality standards to support scalable and repeatable system deployment.
What you need to succeed in this role
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the professional audio industry, with background at a system integrator, manufacturer, or rental house.
  • Strong experience with complex audio systems.
  • Proven expertise in Audio‑over‑IP technologies, networking concepts, and system integration (bonus if experienced with AES
    67 or Ravenna).
  • Demonstrated ability to set up, commission, and tune advanced loudspeaker systems (experience with Smaart is a plus).
  • Structured working style, comfortable engaging directly with senior technical experts.
  • Proven responsibility for health & safety. Compliant physical system setup, including risk awareness, safe working practices, and adherence to site and venue regulations during installation and commissioning.
  • Comfortable with hands‑on system work, including rack configuration, loudspeaker rigging, cabling, and physical signal connections.
  • Professional communication skills, including written documentation, presentations, and technical reporting.
  • Fluent in English.
  • You love to take on responsibility and work with a team.
  • Are always striving for new challenges and eager to deep dive into complex problems.
We offer you

At HOLOPLOT we work in a flexible hybrid setup with trust‑based working hours, giving you the freedom to organise your day in a way that supports focus, deep work and balance. Pay is competitive and fair, and we offer perks and benefits such as subsidised public transport, lunch allowances, Urban Sports and a company pension scheme.

You’ll join an international, open‑minded team across software, hardware, product and research, in an environment with plenty of autonomy and ownership. You’ll work on cutting‑edge audio technology, turn complex requirements into working solutions and contribute to global projects, with support for your growth through individual development plans, mentoring and coaching.
