Registered Nurse-Emergency Department

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to the Nurse Manager and ultimately to the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current NH License
• BLS & ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Current clinical experience preferred
• 2+ years of prior RN ED experience required

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized patient care; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends; supervise assigned team members; and maintain compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.

All new hires are required to attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH.

Eligible for travel reimbursement when Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, per standard travel policy.
