Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Berlin, NH | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 4x9-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | Onsite | Includes rotating call coverage

• Provide skilled nursing care in an active operating room environment covering a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, GI, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Cataracts, and Podiatry
• Perform circulating RN duties throughout surgical procedures
• Provide PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) nursing care as required
• Participate in a rotating call schedule: one call day per week (3:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and every fifth weekend (Friday 3:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care throughout the perioperative process

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire
• Circulating RN experience — required
• PACU experience — required
• Experience in the following case types:
  General Surgery, GI, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Cataracts, and Podiatry
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification — required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification — required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) PALS certification — required
• All licenses and certifications must be current at time of submission

• Scrub experience — highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience — highly preferred
• Familiarity with Critical Access Hospital environments

• Work in a well-rounded OR setting offering exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties in a supportive community hospital environment
• Located in a scenic region of New Hampshire near the White Mountains, offering exceptional year-round outdoor recreation and a welcoming small-town atmosphere
