DGS, a geothermal project development platform focused on deploying advanced geothermal systems in Switzerland. As part of its international growth strategy, the company established EAPOSYS Canada Inc. in Calgary to support its expansion and operations in the North American market.

The company is now seeking an independent Board Member to strengthen the Board during the company’s next growth phase.

The profile sought is a highly experienced Board Member who has already accompanied the financing and transformation of an energy/deeptech company from startup to structured scale-up. Substantial sector exposure to energy generation, electricity and heat distribution, district heating networks, or energy markets is highly valued, alongside international experience across Swiss, European and/or North American markets.

The profile sought brings exposure to organisational structuring, governance strengthening, industrialisation, commercial development, fundraising environments, and increasingly demanding growth phases, including the ability to navigate the dynamics between founders, business angels, investors, and boards during critical development stages.

Exposure to industrial sales environments, B2G energy sales dynamics, and the structuring of sales organisations and commercial teams is also considered highly valuable.

Beyond expertise, the founders are looking for individuals committed to the long-term impact and mission of the company and who value strong environmental, social, and governance principles, sustainability, equality of opportunity, diversity of perspectives, and constructive governance dynamics during this important phase of development.

• Proven board experience within startup, deeptech, or fast-moving scale-up environments
• Strong experience with fundraising processes, VC environments, organisational structuring, and governance professionalisation
• Sector exposure to energy generation, electricity and heat distribution, district heating networks, or energy utilities
• International experience
