Business Controller / FP&A (m/f/x)

This is a senior controlling role sitting at the heart of a complex, fast-moving FMCG business. You'll work across the full financial picture: P&L, balance sheet, and working capital. But your primary focus is commercial: understanding what drives performance, challenging the numbers, and helping the business make better decisions.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a clear opportunity for someone to shape and grow the FP&A function over time. You'll be embedded in a controlling team and work closely with the MD, commercial leadership, and marketing.

• Own sales and commercial controlling: revenue, margins, category and segment performance, and the story behind the numbers
• Be the finance partner for the MD, commercial, and marketing teams
• Take on an expanding FP&A remit: scenario modelling, performance analysis, and strategic business support
• Monitor the full P&L, balance sheet, and working capital, flagging risks and opportunities
• Own and develop BI tools and reporting, driving quality and efficiency across the function

• Solid hands‑on controlling and FP&A experience in FMCG, retail, or a similarly complex commercial environment
• A commercial mindset: you’ve sat close to sales and/or marketing and know how to turn data into decisions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Fluent German and English, French is an advantage
• Strong Excel and BI skills, Python is a plus
• Based in or willing to commute to Bern; four days in the office
