Production Manager

Your responsibilities

• Strategic management: End-to-end development and operational implementation of the global value stream strategy from order receipt to delivery to the customer.
• Profitability: Full responsibility for the budget, manufacturing costs and the overall economic result (P&L) of the value stream.
• Holistic leadership: Disciplinary and professional management of the cross-functional areas of production, assembly, work preparation, purchasing, customer service and process engineering.
• Operational excellence: Ensuring and optimizing core KPIs with a clear focus on on-time delivery (OTD), product quality and maximum plant availability.
• Global coordination: Long-term capacity and investment planning for all worldwide production sites, as well as ensuring close, cross-functional cooperation.
• Lean & CIP: Continuous elimination of waste through active management of cross-site Lean initiatives and the implementation of modern shop floor management.

• Solid foundation: Completed technical education as an engineer (FH / HF) necessarily combined with further business administration training (e.g. MBA, Master or comparable).
• Management experience: Several years of demonstrable management experience in a manufacturing industrial company, ideally in an international corporate environment or a global SME.
• Lean expertise: In-depth, practically proven knowledge of Lean methods as well as value stream design (VSA/VSD) and modern shop floor management.
• System & data skills: Confident, practical experience with SAP and a high affinity for modern BI and AI tools.
• Language skills: Fluent German and fluent English for daily global coordination.
• Personality: Assertive, approachable, hands-on leader with strategic vision, high social competence and resilience.
