Job Description

Exoscale is a leading Swiss and European cloud service provider offering IaaS and related services. We want a Sales Specialist to be part of our Sales team in the German‑speaking part of Switzerland.

Job Purpose

Senior Sales Specialist passionate about selling our IaaS Cloud solutions in the German‑speaking part of Switzerland. The role involves managing a portfolio of existing customers, acquiring new ones, and collaborating closely with pre‑sales and marketing teams.

What you do
  • Sell the complete portfolio of products, services, and solutions to existing and prospective IaaS customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and customers through regular contacts and visits.
  • Implement up‑selling strategies with existing customers.
  • Generate leads using a wide range of online and offline lead generation mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with specialist departments to bring sales projects to maturity as a leader.
  • Carry out market and customer analysis to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and other events to build industry contacts.

  • Existing network and sales experience in the German part of Switzerland.
  • Solid team coordination experience to manage and complete sales projects.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and attend events.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

Requirements

A university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Significant experience in large‑scale hardware deployments and lifecycle management. 3–5 years of professional experience in capacity planning, supply chain management, or financial planning, preferably within the technology or telecommunications sector. Strong commercial and technical understanding of server architecture (compute, memory, storage) and the data centre environment.

Proven analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using data visualisation tools. Fluency in English is required.
