Sword Group is looking for an entrepreneurial and motivated professional to join our Bern office as an Account Manager & Talent Acquisition Specialist for the German-speaking region of Switzerland. In this key role, you will be responsible for expanding and developing our business activities, managing relationships with leading organizations, and identifying qualified talent in collaboration with our central Recruitment Team. By matching client needs with the right expertise, you will play a crucial role in the sustainable growth of the Sword Group.
YourMain Responsibilities
Manage and develop an existing portfolio of key accounts while building long-term client relationships.
Identify new business opportunities, acquire new clients, and strengthen Sword’s market presence in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Analyze client needs and propose suitable service, project, and staffing solutions.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to contract signature.
Translate client requirements into recruitment briefs and work closely with the central Recruitment Team.
Identify, assess, and attract qualified IT professionals for client projects.
Provide end-to-end candidate support, from recruitment through successful onboarding.
Build and maintain a strong network of IT specialists and industry professionals.
Connect client requirements with the right talent, creating lasting value for all stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Sword teams and our nearshore and offshore delivery centers.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of experience in the IT services industry, ideally in account management, recruitment, or business development.
Proven track record in developing and growing client relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven and results-oriented approach.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to match client needs with the right talent.
Interest in emerging technologies and digital innovation.
Native-level German and good proficiency of French and English.
Permanent full-time position.
Workplace in Bern (or by mutual agreement).
