Position: Casual Relief Worker for Pre-Primary
Join the South Shore Regional Centre for Education as a Casual Relief Worker in the Pre-primary Program. Your primary role will be to assist children in their learning through play in a safe environment.

SSRCE is looking for passionate individuals to support their Pre-primary Program as Casual Relief Workers. Collaborating with Early Childhood Educators, you will help ensure pre-school children engage in enjoyable learning experiences. Work up to 7 hours daily, focusing on routine assistance, cleanliness, and student support to create a vibrant educational space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with children during indoor and outdoor play

• Aid in the routine cleaning and organization of materials

• Assist in managing bussing and snack preparation

• Clean high touch surfaces according to guidelines

• Follow ECE’s guidance for behavior management

Requirements:

• Experience with young children is required

• Valid Criminal Record and Child Abuse Register Checks

• Ability to follow important cleaning and safety protocols

• Valid driver’s license may be needed for travel

• Readiness to support various duties as assigned
