1. Troubleshoot to diagnose and repair leaks, pressure issues and component failures.
2. Review routings and communicate any necessary changes to engineering and project coordination team.
3. Troubleshoot to diagnose electrical faults related to the subsea environment.
4. Communicate with shop manager and coordinate work accordingly.
5. Train and give guidance to employees.
6. Perform meetings such as safety, facility training, etc.
7. Track hour performance vs standard hours in the routings. Report any major overruns to manager.
8. Close out work orders proficiently; which consists of verifying all paperwork is completed, signed and final operation confirmation is completed in the system.
9. Periodically review and support updates of HARCS and execute pocket HARCs as needed with controls team and others as needed.
10. Able to answer questions about ongoing work in meetings and report progress to manager.
11. Assume responsibility of all work under your leadership.
12. Able to support work area with limited supervision.
13. Maintain a professional and working relationship with fellow employees and customer representatives.
14. Troubleshoot with engineering guidance to solve major issues that arise during testing.
15. Execute SCM planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) along with controls centric equipment such as CDU, EDU, CIMV, EFL, STFL, etc.
16. Support and execute FIT on Controls systems.
17. Execute SCM site received testing (SRT) along with controls centric equipment such as CDU, EDU, CIMV, EFL, STFL, etc
18. Provide technical support for tree SRT, extended factory acceptance testing (EFAT) and deck pre-deployment testing (PDT) as needed.
19. Provide technical support for miscellaneous manifold One Subsea controls integration and EFAT testing as needed.
20. Mentor and train electronic technicians.
21. Maintenance and upkeep of controls test equipment and of the controls testing facility.
22. Work with Customer Property inventory planners to ensure proper storage of controls equipment.
23. Provides cost estimating for all controls related scopes.
24. Employee is required to work in accordance with the work schedule set forth by the supervisor. This includes any weekends or holidays as deemed necessary.
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5-years of experience in offshore oil and gas or subsea operations, preferably in controls work.
3. Pressure testing, function testing, and fluid cleanliness activities experience
4. Current or previous certification to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes.
5. Familiarity with high-pressure/ high-voltage environments.
6. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
7. Understanding of hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, and actuators.
8.
Experience with subsea control pods, subsea distribution equipment, umbilicals, and hydraulic power units (HPUs) preferred.
