Physical Therapy Assistant

Residential Home Health -  - Responsibilities:
Assists physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures.;
In accordance with applicable state law, assists in the development of treatment plans, carries out routine functions, documents the progress of treatment and modifies specific treatments in accordance with patient status and within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.;
Renders treatment and instructional services to patients/caregivers only within the scope of instructions developed by the Physical Therapist/Physician as prescribed in the plan of care, within scope of LPTA's practice.;
Observes, records, and reports to the Physical Therapist and other team members for the purpose of planning, modifying and coordinating treatment programs.;
Communicates regularly with the case manager and other health care professionals assigned to the case.
